Tudor Heritage Black Bay
You of course all know that Tudor meanwhile extended its Black Bay collection quite a bit. The highlight this year for sure was the new Black Bay Bronze, but in Basel I also saw a full black one named Black Bay Dark. Today the Heritage Black Bay is available in five versions, each with its own personality.
Starting with this year the Heritage Black Bay now is equipped with an in-house calibre. This is a variant of the movement manufactured by Tudor and developed as an update to the Heritage Black Bay model. It displays hours, minutes and seconds, and bears the reference MT5602, in which “MT” stands for “Mouvement Tudor”. It offers a 70-hour power reserve. Beating to a frequency of 28,800 A/h or 4Hz the movement is regulated by a variable inertia oscillator with silicon balance spring, held in place by a traversing bridge. Furthermore, the movement is certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).
The prices of the Black Bay´s shown here start at 3200 Swiss Franc for the version with a matt burgundy, matt blue or matt black bezel. The bronze is sold for 3800 Swiss Franc and the all black dark staring at 3900 Swiss Franc. All Swiss prices include 8 % VAT.
With my Tudor compilation I hope you will discover your personal favorite!

Tudor broke the chains from Rolex and that is great! Love BB, especially now with in-house mvt. I like all, but if I had the opportunity, Bronze would be my choice!
Nice to see Tudor isn’t charging an arm & a leg for in house movements. Perhaps they’ve taken a good lesson from Frederique Constant/Alpina.
IMHO, “manufacture” movements need not be a whole bunch more expensive than a caliber from ETA or Selitta.
Bravo Tudor.
BTW, the bronze doesn’t look all that bronze in the pictures. Would love to see it in person, in the 6 months or whatever it takes to get from Basel to the US. ‘-)
Daar Alexander, these black bay watchers look good, tudor is going places Rolex will never go and that is a complement to the brand. I hope tudor will stay on this track, Rolex has become to much gold, platinum, diamonds for me.
